ENLACE ANCESTRAL | Aurea Fibras Nativas Creative & film direction
Enlace Ancestral was a fashion film and campaign co-developed with Julieta Olivieri for the European launch of Áurea Fibras Nativas, a brand rooted in ancestral textile techniques from northern Argentina.
Our challenge was to elevate these handcrafted pieces beyond their folkloric context and position them within a haute couture visual language.
I built the direction around the concept of repetition — echoing the circular movement of weaving itself — allowing rhythm, structure and sound to mirror the act of threading, so that the film metaphorically “wove” itself as it unfolded.
The project was officially selected at the Barcelona International Fashion Film Festival (2022).
