This music video was developed for the launch of María Cielos’ debut album, centered on a song about seeing her late mother reflected in herself.
Rather than using literal mirrors, I explored the idea of doubling through choreography, pairing María with a dancer who subtly mirrored her movements to evoke presence without direct representation.
Water became a second narrative layer — inspired by the artist’s association between the sea and her mother — appearing throughout the film as a quiet, symbolic element that held memory and emotional continuity.
