TOTHOM A TAULA | Documentary Shortfilm Script & film direction
Tothom a Taula was developed after receiving the Talayotic Grant in Menorca, a program supporting artistic projects that reinterpret the island’s prehistoric archaeological heritage.
The film draws a parallel between ancient Talayotic gathering sites — particularly the taulas — and contemporary communal rituals, exploring how spaces of assembly shape social identity across time. Through documentary interviews with Menorcan residents, I investigated the table as a symbolic meeting point, revealing subtle continuities between present-day rituals and the collective structures of prehistoric society.
